Eve Price

December 24, 1998 – April 5, 2016

She was the 18 year daughter of Gwyn and J.B. Price.  Her breed was Border Collie mix.  While only a few weeks old, Eve was found by a friend under a tree in her back yard on Christmas Eve 1998 and was adopted by her parents on New Year’s Eve of the same year.  This is how she got the name Eve. 

She enjoyed riding on anything that moved especially the tractors.  Herding was her natural instinct and she sure knew how to do it well.  She also loved to pose for the camera.  Eve rode with her Dad on the Wholesale truck for the first part of her life and knew all the stops that needed to be made and enjoyed seeing the people on the route. 

She was a friend to many but a best friend to her Mom and Dad.

Age and arthritis took it’s toile on her body and especially her back legs.  On April 5, at 4:45 p.m. while in the arms of her parents she slipped away to the Rainbow Bridge.

A private service will be held.  Compassionate care was entrusted to Animal Care Crematory in Goldsboro.
