Biscuit Doyle

Our beloved Biscuit crossed over the rainbow bridge on March 3, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. We adopted Biscuit when he was two-years-old from Peanuts' Place Rescue in Matthews, NC as a birthday present for our dear Katie. We immediately fell in love with his funny personality and our lives were changed forever. He was such a wonderful companion and protector. Biscuit loved to protect his house from evil people like Amazon, FedEx, or UPS delivery drivers. Once we adopted Abby in 2014, she and Biscuit became best friends and have been inseparable ever since. Biscuit was always the leader, so Abby was happy to follow along. Biscuit loved his toys, although they didn't stand much of a chance once he went for the squeaker. Biscuit's favorite activity was going for long walks on the beach where he would hunt for crabs and sometimes even manage to capture one. 

We always loved the way Biscuit would communicate to us when he was hungry or wanted a treat, by a forceful nose bump and that serious stare. If we weren't fast enough, that nose bump and stare would sometimes be followed by a bark. 

Biscuit, your 13 years on this earth were not long enough. We will miss you so much and never forget what a wonderful part of our family you have been. Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful for the time we had with you. Brian, Ross, Katie, Abby, and I know you are happily running and playing, chasing squirrels, and sprawling out in the warm sunshine. Rest in peace little buddy. We love you and can't wait to see you again.
